This 289 Fastback was built in 1965 and was subject to a complete nut and bolt restoration in the USA IN 2012 AT A COST OF APPROXIMATLEY $80,000. The intention was to recreate the car, as it left the factory in ’65. Complete with correct red-oxide chassis finish, stickers, stampings, markings, interior trim. All work was carried out by seasoned Mustang experts.
Presented in truly exceptional condition today, this Fastback drives as good as it looks. Ideal for road use, touring and road rallies, the automatic transmission promises smooth motoring all the way; the Red paint finish is truly exceptional. We believe this to be one of the very best examples in existence.
